People with borderline personality disorder (BPD) can have lots of trouble finding and keeping a job. Some of this can be attributed to the symptoms of the disorder, but some may also be attributed to stigma about mental illness in the workplace. Next week, the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) is hosting a free teleconference for anyone with an interest in learning more about mental illness and the workplace, including ways to reduce stigma and promote diversity at work, and to improve the mental health of employees.
The teleconference will be held on January 27th from 2:00 - 3:30 pm (EST). To learn more and register, visit the NAMI website.
