Have You Tried the Pros and Cons Tool?

The pros and cons tool, which originates from Dialectical Behavior Therapy for BPD, is a very powerful tool for making decisions. Many people use this tool when they are having strong urges to engage in self-harm. But, it can be used to help you make more intentional choices about all kinds of behavior (for example, I often recommend that people use this tool before making a decision to quit therapy).
