Definition:
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder is a disorder that characterized by severe inattention and/or hyperactivity-impulsivity that results in significant functional impairment. This is usually first diagnosed in school-age children.
It is hypothesized that untreated ADHD may be a precursor of BPD.
Also Known As: Commonly called ADD, which refers to the disorder without without the hyperactivity component.
