Definition:

Norepinephrine is a neurotransmitter produced by the adrenal gland regulating attention and impulsivity.

It is a hormone released in response to physiological changes caused by a stressful event. Regulating the flight-or-fight response increasing heart rate, releasing energy, and physical readiness.
