"Paranoia"

Definition:

Paranoia refers to the irrational and excessive anxiety and fear about one's well-being or safety. This can include the suspicion of the motives of others.

This is a common issue in relationships for a person with BPD. Although the thoughts are can be irrational, they are real and extremely upsetting.
