Rhonda found that the she was always looking for stability, acceptance, and an identity. This search drove her behaviors that ultimately pushed others away from her. The chaos that she found resulted in depression, periodic suicide attempts, stress-related digestion problems, financial distress, and being alone.

She spent years not understanding why people left her. Why they did not understand how much she had tried to be what they were looking for.

Healing

Once Rhonda was diagnosed and accepted the diagnosis she was able to begin to make change. She met with a psychiatrist for medication and found a good therapist. The therapist accepted her as she was, while helping her challenge her behaviors and thoughts, learn new coping and communication skills, and accept herself. Rhonda has a long road ahead of her, but continues to work towards change from within.
